Boyzone’s Stephen Gately Dead at 33

Irish singer and actor Stephen Gately, who along with Ronan Keating was one of two lead singers in the boy band Boyzone, has been found dead in Majorca at the age of 33.

An official statement on Boyzone’s website said that Stephen Gately had “tragically died” and that the band would be flying out to Majorca on Sunday. The statement also said that Gately had been on holidaywith his long-term partner Andy Cowles when he died on Saturday.

The News of the World reported that Gately had gone out for drinks, returned to his accommodation and gone to sleep, but never woke up.

Gately had a Top 10 solo album in 2000, after the band’s initial breakup. Gately went on to appear variously in stage productions and on television programs as well recording further solo material. In 2008 he rejoined his bandmates as Boyzone reformed for a series of concerts and recordings.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Danni's stupid remark about Danyl Johnson

Dannii Minogue has gone completely insane? On X-Factor last night in the UK, she judged performer Danyl Johnson for his alleged sexuality instead of his performance.

Danyl sang the Jennifer Hudson ‘Dreamgirls’ show tune ‘And I Am Telling You’. Dannii’s completely inappropriate comment referred to the gender change to the lyric. “Changing a girls song into a guys song but if we are to believe everything we read in the paper maybe you didn’t need to change the gender reference in it,” she said.

Simon Cowell was gobsmacked. “What did you say? What did you say? What did you say’, he fumed to which Dannii then foolishly repeated her out of place statement.

The audience went quiet, she turned to them and said, “no, don’t believe it”.

Is this the same Dannii Minogue, sister to superstar gay icon Kylie Minogue or some mutant that stole her image and took her place on the show?

Dannii Minogue’s comment was disgraceful and below the belt. She is an embarrassment to the Minogue family name. She should be dropped from the show.

She is yet to apologize for his medieval remark.
